Spring is here and soon the courts & pool will be open. The Management Office at the Sports Core will be open on Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to issue Activity Access Passes and to sell pool punch cards. We encourage you to take advantage of this event to avoid the summer lines and waits.
THORNWOOD SPRING GARAGE SALE
The spring garage sale is planned for Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th 8am - 4pm. There will be an optional pre-sale for Thornwood residents only from 6pm - 8pm on Thursday, May 15th.
Thornwood permits three garage sales per year with our Spring Sale being the only one to require registration. Registration is now open and ends on May 12th. Maximize your sales by completing the attached registration form and drop it off along with your $10 payment to the Sports Core. Registration monies go toward advertising, signage and the printing of the neighborhood maps distributed at the entrances listing participating addresses. Exclusive yard signs can be picked up at the Sports Core office on Mondays from 10 am – 2 pm.
EASTER BUNNY VISIT & EGG HUNT
Hop on over to the Sports Core to take an "eggcellent" picture with the Easter Bunny on April 12th from 9:00 -11:00 am. The Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10:45 am for children 5 and under followed by age groups 6-8, and then 9-12.
THORNWOOD BOOK CLUB
The Book Club will be meeting at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 9th at the Thornwood Sports Core. The April book is TBD. All are welcome to join in on the fun. The Thornwood Book Club usually meets the second Wednesday of each month (except in August) at the Thornwood Sports Core. APRIL 2025 BOARD MEETING
The Thornwood HOA Board of Directors will be conducting a Board meeting on April 24th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Thornwood Sports Core located at 850 E. Thornwood Drive, South Elgin, IL.
Homeowners are always welcome and encouraged to attend Board meetings.
THORNWOOD MEN'S CLUB
Men's Club will be meeting at 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 17th at The Lewis which is located at 106 E. Main Street, St. Charles.
